Gorgeous Spring!

The spring weather continues to be beautiful and the flowers and trees are in full bloom. The dogwood trees have their delicate floral buds and the pink and red tulips are opening up. The yellow tulips always come through first, so they've been around for about a week.

The morning temperatures are still quite cool, so it will probably be another month before we start serving breakfast on the front porch. But everyone is enjoying their late afternoon wine & tea on the front porch rockers or the Adirondack chairs in the side garden. Asheville is all about seeing the sights during the day and coming back to the Inn to relax.

We are very excited that some guests are getting married at the Inn the first week-end in May. The Inn and garden are looking great. We were able to get our painters out last week to refresh the paint on the exterior walls, since the winter was pretty harsh. The Cottage is also being repainted so you'll see a new picture of that soon.

Bill always enjoys being in the garden and is planting today. The garden is already breathtaking, but he loves to find new varieties and incorporate them into some of the established areas. He is the expert, so all plant questions are directed to him! We also have a Garden Blog, so check that out as well.
